Visiting a 11th century fort on the top of a mount Visiting a 11th century fort on the top of a mountain used to keep an eye on the boarder of France and what was once the Kingdom of Sardinia. We went with a local who grew up in the area and knew it very well as we hiked into the fort from a back road.
